Lawyer designs resolution scheme to help firm’s clients prevent disputes

Lawyers from UK’s Sheffield office of national law firm Nabarro were given award for creating a dispute resolution scheme to reduce legal costs. As part of the scheme, the law firm helps clients manage their internal supply chain to reduce future disputes with suppliers and customers.

Law firms must shift their role as legal advisor “from firefighter to fire prevention.” Only by recognizing that clients are searching for new innovative ways of preventing conflict will law firms keep current with the demands of the marketplace.
