Town council of Bristol, Connecticut asks the board of education to revive mediation. Although the past mediation failed (after heated debate from outspoken attorneys), the second mediation will be open to the public to allow the town to participate. The second round of mediation can only succeed if the board and town council commit to doing what is best for the town. Having the mediation be public will hold the leadership accountable and ensure that the board and town council do what is best for the town.
