London-born stand-up-comic-becomes-script-writer-becomes-motivation-coach Anand Chulani discusses the power he has found in humor through his profession, and how he has applied that knowledge to help everyone from rock bands to professional sports teams to Disney more efficiently manage personal and professional conflict using laughter as a tool.
“I always look at my life as three chapters: Being laughed at, making people laugh, and empowering people to use laughter to resolve conflict,” Chulani states. Chulani’s quest seems to be larger than simply conflict resolution; indeed, he seems to be to helping organizations cope with uncertainty, and to be helping individuals improve their everyday lives.
