Litigation Funding Expands to Asia, Africa, and Latin America

Commercial Intelligence Funds Group is in the business of financing lawsuits, debt claims, and arbitration. Unlike most funds out there which back legal disputes in Europe or the US, this new fund will fund litigation on behalf of “individuals, companies or liquidators in regions such as Africa, Latin America and Asia” for legal claims between $5 million and $300 million.

This fund allows parties in traditionally underserved areas to pursue legal action. If the fund reaches its target $100 million, it will be in huge demand as the need for this type of funding is constantly increasing in light of the credit-crunch.
