Everyone Wins with Recent Settlement Over Publishing Dispute

“I Love Bacon” Author Wins Publishing Victory for her “I Love Corn” Book in Lawsuit Settlement

Brooklyn author previously filed a lawsuit against her former literary agent and publishing house for allegedly stealing the idea for her “I Love Bacon” cookbook. The judge barred further printing of the book prior to resolution in arbitration.

Fortunately, the parties reached a settlement that served everyone’s needs. Although neither defendant admits guilt, a large percentage of the proceeds from the “I Love Bacon” book will go toward a charity of Skye’s choice. As part of the settlement, Skye will also get a publishing deal for her new book “I Love Corn.”
