"Confidential" NFL Mediation 

First Day of Mediation includes “Tough” Talks, “Fence-Mending”

NFL and players had their first day of mediation on Thursday lasting 9.5 hours. NFL reporter sites an anonymous source that said the mediation talks were “tough” and involved lots of “fence-mending.”

Although mediation is confidential and both sides have been ordered to zip it, it is somewhat surprising that someone with knowledge of the mediation has talked to the media. One must ask, “once the process of sharing information on an anonymous basis begins, where does it end?”
