The NFL lockout was lifted on Monday at least temporarily, and the players were allowed to go back to work even though the league has appealed the decision. As mediation talks continue between the parties, the NFL is hammering out rules for this limbo period on free agency and trades.
On Thursday evening, the labor-divided leagues kicked off its draft, and players resumed basic operations today. “While the union and owners have serious legal and labor hurdles left to clear, many players are growing more confident a deal will ultimately be reached” and there will be football in 2011-2012.
