No End in Sight to NFL Lockout 

Mediation Ends; Some Progress, But No End in Sight to Lockout

The NFL and the players finished another round of court-ordered mediation with Magistrate Judge Arthur Boyle which will resume again on June 7. With the clock ticking on the 2011 season, there is no sign of a new collective bargaining agreement.

NFL lead negotiator Jeff Pash says, “The only way we’re going to solve this is by sitting down together.” Emphasizing the NFL’s preference for traditional negotiations outside the courts he reiterated the following about yesterday’s mediation session: “I think we got some work done today and we’re going to keep at it.”
