NFL Settlement Talks

Mediation Shelved in Favor of Settlement Talk

Mediation sessions have been canceled by the U.S. District court in Minnesota which were scheduled for next week to begin “confidential settlement talks” with the NFL and the NFLPA.

In light of the uncertainty and lack of leverage on both sides as they await the Eighth Circuit ruling on the lockout, U.S. Magistrate Judge Arthur Boylan is pushing the parties toward settlement. Mediation is shelved as these confidential settlement talks begin.
