Baseball Arbitration Demands

Tim Lincecum Arbitration Demands: Giants Pitcher Asks For $21.5 Million Salary

Pitcher for Giants asked for $21.5 million and was offered $17 million in return by the club. This is the highest offer in arbitration history (beating the offer for Derek Jeter in 2001). Giant’s President said, “I’m overall optimistic that we’ll find common ground without a hearing room.”
