Goldman Sachs Requests Arbitration in Hedge Fund Suit

Goldman Sachs has asked a New York state court judge to either order arbitration of, or dismiss, a lawsuit brought by Basis Yield Alpha Fund. Basis Yield sued Goldman last October, accusing the investment bank of making false and misleading statements and omissions in connection with the sale of securities known as Timberwolf and Point Pleasant.
