Bayer’s birth control pills which allegedly cause blood clots will not go to trial on January 9. Instead, U.S. District Judge David Herndon in Illinois ordered mediation to try to settle the case. “The case was the first of more than 10,000 suits over injuries allegedly caused by the drugs, which include the Yaz contraceptive.”
