Berthold Huber is in for a tough few weeks: The head of IG Metall, Germany’s biggest labor union, needs to forge a new pay agreement for around 3.6 million workers in the automotive, machinery, metal and electronics sectors, the industrial backbone of Europe’s largest economy.
