29th Ministerial Meeting of ECOWAS Mediation and Security Council in Abuja

ECOWAS Mediation and Security Council met this week to discuss the region’s political and security situation. The Chairman of the 29th Council session, Nigeria’s Foreign Minister Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru, will “consider the memoranda on the security and humanitarian situations in the Sahel region of Mali and Niger and the regional response to piracy in the Gulf of Guinea.”
