Contract Mediation Fails

Stalemate on Teachers Contract Continues

The teachers union and school committee are at a standstill. The state negotiator will be stepping in to try to help break the impasse by reviewing the two sides and making a possible recommendation for a new teacher’s contract. “The process is called fact finding. Once the report is issued by the negotiator, the two sides will then bargain over the suggested contract.”
