Negotiations with CSEA 

Moving to Mediation

The county and CSEA union are heading to mediation after coming to an impasse. Rose Conti, CSEA Chautauqua County unit president, said that the union’s proposed deal would save taxpayers money but for “purely political reasons, the county is giving up the opportunity.” Hopefully a neutral mediator will be able to help the parties reach compromise.
