Family Law Matters Do Not Belong in the Courtroom Says Family Law Attorney Mark Baer

According to Family Law Mediator and Attorney, Mark Baer, divorce and child custody issues should not be heard in court. Instead, forms of consensual dispute resolution should be utilized. In fact, in other countries like Australia, England, and Canada this is the norm. Given the recent increase in violence in child custody battles, Baer believes that judges aren’t equipped to make these life altering decision.
