Mugabe Shuns Zuma Mediation
President Mugabe Threatens to Reject Appointed Mediator

Last year amidst election turmoil, the Southern African Development Community (SADC) appointed South African President Zuma as mediator. Zuma and the facilitation team insist that Zimbabwe’s three governing parties “must first implement agreements under the terms of their power sharing deal.” However, Mugabe insists that elections will be held this year without these forms.
