Swift And Cheap: Welcome To The Divorce Hotel

Entrepreneur Jim Halfens noticed a gap in the market in the Netherlands for affordable and quick divorces. He calls it the “Divorce Hotel.” Divorcing spouses are invited to a “weekend away” where a series of lawyers and mediators help the couple complete all necessary legal documents, split assets, determine alimony payments, and arrange visitation rights all within two days and for a fixed-fee. “When they leave the hotel, all work is done.”
