Mediation in Homeless Veterans Suit Fails

Veterans Housing Arrangements Still Up in the Air

Three California Veterans—homeless and mentally disabled—have filed a claim against the United States Department Veterans Affairs to failing to provide housing. Court-ordered mediation has failed thus far and the case has fallen dormant since mediation has failed. The parties are requesting a trial in June. Hopefully setting a trial date will encourage the parties to talk settlement.
