Intermediate Arbitration Rulings Not Reviewable

Arbitration Rulings not Reviewable in Circuit Court Until Final Award Rendered

In a matter of first impression, the Wisconsin state appeals court held that an intermediate arbitration ruling cannot be reviewed until a panel makes a final award. The court held that “arbitration panels, not circuit courts, have exclusive authority to interpret arbitration agreements with respect to procedural issues.”
