New Arbitration Award for City Prison Guards May Be Good News

The local Mayor applauds the recent arbitration award for prison guards as he attempts to agree to contract changes with municipal workers. The award includes significant changes to pension benefits, and “These kinds of changes are critically important. The arbitrators clearly understand the dire fiscal circumstances the city has been facing for some time.”
