American Airline Unions Ask Mediator for Arbitration 

American’s Unions ask Federal Mediators for Binding Arbitration

After exhausting all options in mediation, American Airline’s pilots, flight attendants, mechanics, and ground worker unions now seek binding arbitration after the latest rounds of contract talks failed with the Fort Worth-based Carrier. The workers union said in a letter, “A panel of experienced labor arbitrators is best positioned to weigh the merits of the parties’ negotiating positions and proposals, and to craft a binding settlement.”
