South Sudan Troops Move Into Disputed Oil Town

South Sudan and Sudan are fighting over oil-rich border town of Heglig. Daffa-Alla Elhag Ali Osman, Sudan’s ambassador to the United Nations, has complained to the Security Council and condemned the “heinous attack” on Heglig. He demanded South Sudan’s withdrawal. “Both nations, along with the U.N. Security Council, urged South Sudan to withdraw from the town of Heglig and condemned the bombings of South Sudan territory by Sudan.”
