School Board Raises Concerns Over Mediator Appointment 

Mediator’s Capabilities Questioned

After stalling for months, the parties thought a mediator might help break the impasse in the ongoing negotiations in a labor dispute between teachers and the province. Now however the parties are doubting the appointment of Charles Jago. One party said, “We welcomed that because the discussions and negotiations had been going on for so long and didn’t seem to be getting anywhere so this seemed like a viable option.”
