CIETACs New Arbitration Rules

Divorce Mediators Unite…at a Convention

Recently the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (“CIETAC”) has adopted newly revised arbitration rules which will be effective May 1, 2012. New key features include interim measures, suspension of proceedings, summary procedure, consolidation of arbitrations, language, and place of arbitration.
