SF Court Orders Mediation In Gun Show Dispute

Mediation Order Issued in Ongoing Dispute

April 5, 2012

Federal appeals court ordered mediation for an ongoing dispute. Nine of eleven judges signed the mediation order and said, “The panel believes that the parties should attempt to settle this dispute by agreeing on the conditions for holding gun shows at the Alameda County fairgrounds, with the assistance of mediation,” while the other two judges believe that mediation will not be fruitful stating that “This delay serves no purpose.”
