Arbitration Rejection Leads to Verbal Jabs

Board and Teachers Union Traded Verbal Jabs

Teachers and Union are still arguing about the nonbinding arbitration award the board rejected earlier this week. Earlier this week, parties said some pretty unkind words. Neshaminy Federation of Teachers President Louise Boyd described the board’s comments as “vindictive.” Another said the comments were “flat-out embarrassing” and he was speechless when he heard the rant about the arbitrator, the arbitration process, state officials and teachers.
