Dental Mediation Service Goes Live

Ireland Mediation for Dental Complaints

Ireland launches free dental mediation services today which will help patients resolve complaints about their dental treatment. The independent program is referred to as Dental Complaints Resolution Service and will deal with complaints including treatment standards, diagnosis, communications, and professional etiquette and fees. Chairman of the Consumer Association of Ireland, Michael Kilcoyne has been appointed the first mediator. He hopes the organization “would offer Irish patients a valuable alternative to existing systems, as well as benefitting dentists because it can address concerns as they arise and offer ‘invaluable feedback.’”
