German Mediation Committee Agrees Carbon Capture Law

Compromise over Carbon Storage Issue

Environment Minister Peter Altmaier said that Germany’s parliamentary mediation committee approved comprise which will allow carbon capture and storage as a test basis. “The mediation committee on Wednesday approved the new compromise with a close majority, meaning the law’s passage through parliament is still not guaranteed.”
