Settlement Reached

The third largest US Bank settled a claim with actor Larry Hagman who played oil tycoon JR Ewing in “Dallas,” a 1980s television show. In October, the bank was ordered to pay $12 million in damages after losing a FINRA arbitration ruling. Although a judge dismissed that decision in February, Hagman appealed.

Hagman’s settlement with the bank is confidential but his attorney said that “Mr. Hagman is very pleased that the matter is settled.”
