National Mediation Board Ruling on Airline Unions Upheld

Lawmakers reached a compromise Friday that toughens the rules airline and railroad workers must follow to hold union elections, but does not overrule a contentious 2010 decision by the National Mediation Board wherein airline workers can form a union by simple majority vote.
