Mediation Center Divides CA Town

The Auburn, CA City Council thought that approving the rezoning of a historic property for use as a mediation center would help the community, but the decision came amidst a divided crowd of frustrated citizens Monday night. Under the resolution, the council rezoned an historic house from a residential zone to an Open Space Conservation, which carries stricter guidelines, and which threatens a local family.
