The United States Anti-Doping Agency Faces Biggest Challenge Yet.

The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) was created in 2000. Often cyclists, sprinters, and other athletes accused of using drugs will challenge the agency legally but the USADA has never been beaten in federal court. However, “USADA has never faced an opponent like Lance Armstrong. After being charged in June with years of using drugs and blood transfusions to improve his performance, a well-funded American sports icon is going to court against an adversary that’s backed by Congress and nearly undefeated.”
