Mediation or the Traditional Divorce Litigation?

When is mediating a divorce not the ideal solution? A mediator or a divorcing spouse should ask the following questions. Are you worried that the parties will not fully disclose their financials? Are you worried that there is intimidation or abuse in the relationship? Is one of the parties in the relationship not even interested in obtaining a divorce? If yes is the answer to any of these questions, then perhaps divorce mediation is not the solution.
