J.C. Penney Could Pay Macy’s For Alleged Violation of Stewart Pact

Rival retailers return to court earlier this week on April 8 with Macy’s accusing J.C. Penney of breaking an agreement to halt all sales of Martha Stewart products until their legal dispute is resolved. Allegedly, J.C. Penney has continued with the sale of plastic pitchers marketed under Stewart’s name. The civil case resumed this week after the companies failed to reach resolution at mediation.
