Misty Lake Lodge seeks to recover $2M from MANFF

The Manitoba Association of Native Firefights (MANFF) currently owes more than $2 million in unpaid hotel bills for flood evacuees. Rytha Dykes, general manager at Misty Lake Lodge, has checked with Manitoba’s Emergency Measures Organization and “discovered the province had already paid MANFF for the lodge’s invoices — the very ones that MANFF has been slow to settle.”
