Solicitor “not in breach of duties” by failing to facilitate binding mediation agreement

A solicitor cannot be held responsible if parties to mediation do not immediately reach a final binding agreement, the Court of Appeal has confirmed.Lord Justice Tomlinson notes in his judgment that mediation is a “flexible and immensely valuable process of dispute resolution.”
