Former City Council Member’s Sexual Battery Case to Go to Mediation

The matter will proceed to criminal mediation before 3rd District Judge Christopher S. Nye.  “Criminal mediation is a process in which the defendant meets behind closed doors with attorneys from the defense and prosecution and a different judge from the one presiding over the case to reach a plea agreement without going to trial.”
