Opinion: The Benefits of Mediation

When disputes rise to a serious level that undermine the ability to maintain relationships among policyholders, colleagues, and contractors, mediation can be used to resolve conflicts and disputes by helping both parties control their fate by crafting their own unique solution to the problem.

Mediation is perfectly suited to help resolve issues between policyholders or contractors and insurers. “If a policyholder is saying one thing and an insurer or contractor is saying another, mediation helps the policyholder have an opportunity to be heard while also keeping all relationships intact. It provides a safe and confidential environment in which to explore a variety of options to settle disputes.”
