Panel Maintains Chevron Arbitration Ruling

In a decision released last week, a three-judge Ecuadorian panel ruled that Chevron was not entitled to use an order from an international arbitration tribunal, which asked Ecuador’s government to suspend the litigation, to block the rainforest communities from enforcing an $18 billion judgment against the company.
