Teacher’s dispute in Canada has been going on for month. A lawyer for the teacher’s union suggest that the mediator is an advocate for the government “rather than a skilled negotiator who can help both sides reach a deal.” There is not a motion to quash the mediator’s appointment based on the mediator Charles Jago’s bias and inexperience as a mediator. Government attorney says, “Such a challenge should only be made on the basis of objective evidence that rises above speculation” and the evidence in this situation doesn’t.
