President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buahri, has applauded Ghana’s efforts to assist in mediating the political crisis in Togo where opposition groups are calling for incumbent Faure Gnassingbe to resign. Despite these efforts, it appears protests will resume next week since mediation efforts at the end of February have stalled.
