September 12th, 2022

Irvine, California — Bill Eddy, LCSW, Esq., accomplished lawyer, therapist, mediator, author, keynote speaker, and Chief Innovation Officer and Co-Founder of the High Conflict Institute, has been accepted into the inaugural edition of “Who’s Who in ADR” by ADR Times – the foremost dispute resolution community for successful mediators and arbitrators worldwide.

Mr. Eddy was vetted and selected by a review committee based on the depth and diversity of his experience. Criteria for acceptance include independent research of a neutral’s track record of successfully resolving commercial and family disputes, thought leadership profile, peer nominations, as well as personal and professional achievements and honors.

“We are honored to formally recognize Mr. Eddy’s dispute resolution expertise and lifelong achievements,” said Mark Fotohabadi, Publisher of ADR Times, the collective that includes Who’s Who in ADR. “Our mission with Who’s Who in ADR is to profile exemplary neutrals and dispute resolution executives who have proven to be a leader in their unique niche(s), and continue to inspire the next generation of problem solvers.”

As an inductee of Who’s Who in ADR, Mr. Eddy will be featured in their ongoing thought leadership promotional series, have exclusive access to their growing community, and have the opportunity to nominate other peers for review. Mr. Eddy will also be invited to work closely with their professional editorial team to continue to share his expert practice insights on positively shaping the future of dispute resolution.

Recognizing the need for premium dispute resolution content, connections, and community, ADR Times is the brainchild of co-founders, Mark Fotohabadi, Ph.D., and award-winning peacemaker and gifted teacher, the late W. Timothy Pownall (1948-2016), who together envisioned and built a parties-first approach to offer people and professionals entangled in conflict, direct access to dispute resolution excellence.

“Mediation is necessarily becoming an essential, peaceful method for resolving disputes around the world, large and small. Yet many people still do not know about it and it gets very little attention compared to the high conflict, high drama world it feels like we live in. We need to consciously pay more attention to ADR methods such as mediation, because they calm conflicts and resolve disputes in a quiet way that brings peace to families, workplaces, businesses, and nations. Our future depends on raising awareness of mediation and ADR, and the ADR Times is doing that. I thank them for this opportunity to be recognized on behalf of all the people doing this important work,” said Mr. Eddy.
