Join us in Chicago for an international forum to exchange ideas among experienced mediators and advocates practicing in all areas of mediation including family, commercial, tort, community, employment and international mediation.  The International Academy of Dispute Resolution World Mediation Congress will be held at Loyola University School of Law in conjunction with the INADR 17th Annual International Law School Mediation Tournament.

The Congress will feature speakers and workshops covering all things mediation, highlighted by “The Conflict of Politics and The Politics of Conflict: How to Think About and Respond to Political Conflicts” by Kenneth Cloke, an internationally-recognized mediator, dialogue facilitator, conflict resolution systems designer, teacher, public speaker, prolific author, and leader in the field of conflict resolution.  Following the World Mediation Congress, Loyola University Chicago School of Law will host the International Mediation Tournament with 45 teams of law students from around the world competing and learning about mediation. Students are welcome to attend the Congress.

* Opportunities for experienced professionals to serve as judges at the tournament are available.  Activities include an optional city tour and a cocktail reception for mediators, attorneys, and tournament judges on Thursday evening at the Schiff Hardin law firm on the 71st floor of Willis Tower, Chicago’s tallest building.
